What is Ten's Stationery Shop Tour?
Ten's Stationery Shop Tour is a series of visits to interesting stationery shops around the country and around the world and reports on them.
Today, I would like to introduce Papie Tiger in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, which I visited while I was in Tokyo for an event.
In the past, I came across Papier Tigre notebooks at a stationery store in Fukuoka, and fell in love with their playful design and cuteness of the tiger, so I started buying them little by little.
Currently, I love notebooks, sketchbook notebooks, ballpoint pens, PC web camera covers, and book bands/pen holders!
Papier Tigre
A product brand founded in Paris in 2012 that mainly produces stationery. We are not originally stationery experts, but started our activities with a creative team that wanted to start something innovative. The key concepts are "innovation" and "creation". We value elements such as graphics, playfulness, and practicality, and develop original Papier Tigre items that are not only superficially designed but also have fun features that make them fun to use.
store entrance
A roadside store located just across a major street. I wonder if the nearest station is around Suitengu?
There was a loop bus nearby so I headed there.
Inside the store
As soon as I entered, I found items like notebooks and calendars for 2024. The photo shows the area on the left as you enter, but there were also rows of people lined up in the front area.
My eyes are busy with the colors and patterns that I don't see in Japanese stationery stores, as well as the bellows-folded calendars.
The inside of the store is small. Like a museum shop, sophisticated items are displayed with blank spaces.
Speaking of Papier Tigre, it's a notebook! The theme changes every year, so it will be released as a limited edition.
The notebooks I bought about two years ago were still lined up in different sizes, so I wonder if they'll come back here if they go unsold somewhere?
We have a wide range of products including writing instruments, pouches, PC cases, towels, and socks.
I had been looking for a PC case that I liked for a long time, so I was really excited, but the price was out of my budget...
There was something. cute! !

Purchase a survey field notebook made in collaboration with THINK OF THINGS, a cafe and shop produced by KOKUYO's in-house design collective (what is that?)!
A rare Parisian-style tiger!
I had my eye on this mug bottle in collaboration with Tiger Thermos, which I had been eyeing at an online shop but had been sold out for a long time.
It was also sold out at physical stores. When I asked the staff about it, they said that it would be available in the online shop once it was in stock, so I decided to check it out from time to time.
