Hello, I'm the manager of #Ten's Job Tools Store 🐱🌿
Today I will introduce some tips for writing a job request letter!
My mentor when I was a new graduate was a person who was extremely good at his job.
At the time, the mentor was young, only in his third year, but he was a leader and supported by older members.
Here are some tips I stole from such a mentor 🐻
First, let's take a look at the text before the correction.
This is a common request letter. You see chat tools like email and slack.
I'm not good at looking at strings of letters and tend to skip them or put them off until later, so when I receive a request like this, I tend to reject it and say, "Uh...I don't want to read it."
When it comes to the writing side, I write this much without any hesitation.
After rewriting using the tips
Although the request is exactly the same, I feel that it is much easier to read and understand.
3 tips for writing clearly
Part 1. Be short at the beginning and get straight to the point.
When you become a member of society, suddenly
We become indebted to.
Good work.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but...
Do you care like that? Care? We are often taught that business etiquette is to write sentences like this.
These sentences tend to be particularly long if the request is sudden or the result of your own mistake.
However, as someone who receives the text, when I first look at it, I find it long and lose the desire to read it, so I end up putting it off until later.
Therefore, I will keep the beginning short so that the requirements can be conveyed quickly.
Part 2. List requirements in bullet points.
Instead of writing down what you most want to convey in a long sentence, write it out in bullet points.
Also, use symbols such as [ ] and - to make it visually noticeable and easy to read.
Part 3. Finally, a thoughtful sentence
Write the thoughtful sentences you omitted at the beginning at the end!
Just these three things will change the way you look! It's very easy so please try it 😊
